Report my activities and progress to the Senior Patrol Leader (SPL) at least once per month;

Attend Troop Youth Leader training as specified by the Scoutmaster;

Attend at least 75% of all troop meetings and Patrol Leader Councils during my tenure as Librarian;

Attend at least 50% of all troop outings and service projects during my tenure as Librarian;

Take care of the Troop’s literature;

Inventory and organize Merit Badge books and Scouting videos;

Generate a list or lists of available materials. E-mail a current list of available materials to the Troop during my term as Librarian;

Tell the Troop about available Troop Library materials, and discuss the use of them or the library at a Troop meeting early in your tenure as Librarian;

Check out books to Scouts or adults during Troop meetings;

Manage Troop forms such as: menu sheets, duty rosters, campout gear needs lists, shakedown lists, and election results;

Record attendance at every Troop meeting;

Make sure that someone will assume your responsibilities if you are unable to attend a meeting;

Attend, be on time and ready for meetings and Troop activities, and tell the Senior Patrol Leader (SPL) as soon as I know that I can’t make a meeting or event;

Help other scouts whenever possible and be especially supportive of younger and less experienced scouts;

Wear the proper uniform at Troop meetings and events;

Have fun and help other scouts have fun too!

Set an appointment with the Scoutmaster when nearing the end of my tenure as Librarian to review my success in meeting the commitments set forth in this position contract.
