Troop 214 visited the Russellville main fire station as part of a requirement for the Fire Safety merit badge. All firemen were eager to tell us the correct use of their equipment.

A fireman explains how the truck pump works. The big pipe in the middle of the picture is connected to the truck exhaust pipe. The exhaust is air pumped towards the outside when the truck has to have its engine running inside the warehouse.
