The Squids had found the most remote place to pick their tent: on the North edge of a small peninsula. However, their search for isolation did not fill their wish for comfort... They got the most cold and forceful wind of all (they saw that the wind pushed their tent one foot closer to the edge!), and in the morning, the geese welcomed them very loudly starting at 5 o'clock...

Service project for the National Forest Service. Mr. Robert (blue hard hat) explains the project: finish a section of trail. We will install and secure wood beams on one edge of the trail and fill the trail with fine gravel (see mount on which scouts stand).

Delta Heritage Trail Sate Park The troop rode about 14 miles on the Delta Heritage Trail (rail-to-trail conversion that was acquired by Arkansas State Parks in 1993). Before departure (mile marker 2).
